Barbara Oberlander will be the guest speaker at the Sunday Assembly on Feb. 16.
The meeting will start at 11 a.m. at the Pride Center in the Springhill Professional Center, 3850 NW 83 St., Ste. 201, in Gainesville. Attendees may also join via Zoom.
Sunday Assembly, a secular community, welcomes Oberlander as the guest speaker for February. A retired professor emerita of history at Santa Fe College, Oberlander has given numerous engaging presentations on historical figures throughout the community. Her talk, “The Radical Woman on the Quarter: Reverend Dr. Pauli Murray,” will explore Pauli Murray’s life and impact.
The event will also feature live music from SA musicians, with attendees able to sing along. Following the program, guests are invited to a potluck lunch.
